The United States is home to almost 1000 billionaires.

The United States has 41% of the world’s millionaires (about 24 million people).

The US GNP is about 32,000 billion dollars. That’s 32 TRILLION dollars.

But we still pay people seven bucks an hour!! And that number was arrived at (via considerable political haggling, no doubt) seventeen years ago!!

If you want to know what the fuck is wrong with our country just look at the map again. And again.

We have more wealth in this country than we can imagine and yet we have poor people and underpaid people and exploited people and unemployed people and un-insured people and people watching their American Dream fall further and further away.

Money is not evil. It is the LOVE of money that is evil. We have too many people in this land who love money more than anything else. The rich are eating the world with their greed and their lust for power. Fuck those assholes. It’s time to spread that goddamn money around so people can eat, live, work, thrive, and prosper.
